If you are familiar with the "dvd home backup process" (if you don't like the 'piracy' word) maybe you know that it's not so simple to get it to work.
It depends mainly on the disc encryption strength, sometimes it's enough to use regular ripper tools like the excellent DVD Shrink in order to shrink the movie, save it to disk and burn it again when you want.
But from time to time, you will find some discs that have special methods of protection, which causes you to look for some alternatives. In those cases, you can use DVD Decrypter, but even with these two programs it will not be enough.
That's when Ripit4Me comes to the rescue, combining the power of these tools to finally achieve your goal: generate a disc image on your hard disk to burn it later.
Ripit4Me works in a number of steps, which you can perform one at a time (Wizard mode) or all at the same time (1-click mode).
It analyzes your disc avoiding the protected sectors, making a PSL file (protected sectors list) which is imported to DVD Decrypter in order to facilitate its work.
The rest is easy...decrypt, shrink, burn...and off you go!
Simply...don't go out without it!
